Scores

94 / 100

"Brooding layers of blood plums, chalk, mineral and a hint of rhubarb. Palate is deliciously mid weight, with thick chewy tannins and bright, lively red fruit acidity. An all-round crowd pleaser and one nobody would be unhappy with on the table over a BBQ lunch."

90 / 100

"Fruity nose of ripe blueberries, raspberries, cherries and red flowers. Medium-bodied with round tannins and a soft, juicy palate. Vegan. Drink and enjoy."
- James Suckling

4.5 / 5

"Generously styled, the wine shows dark plum, spiced cherry, smoked meat and roasted nut aromas on the nose, followed by a weighty palate that's succulent and supple. Tannins are fine and in balance, making the wine sturdy and lingering. At its best: now to 2027. $25.00."

Tasting Notes

This outstanding value Argentinian Malbec is a consistent favourite of staff and our regular customers. Displaying a fresh and fruity nose, enhanced by hints of plums, black berries and a touch of vanilla. The palate exhibits fresh fruit flavors, supported by sweet and round tannins, and good structure contributed by oak. Long and fruity finish.
