92 / 100"As with the Chardonnay from this producer, the subtle use of oak in this wine gives some structure here without being oaky as such - it’s a deft touch that is rarely seen at this price. The fruit is wonderfully bright and berried, wild strawberries, cranberries and maybe a very subtle hint of something darker like plums and spice. It’s hard not to really like this wine as that fruit is so attractive. Some oak derived tannins give texture and frame to the wine suggesting it’s more serious than its similarly priced peers. Actually very good quality for the price as I take another sip. A bargain here."

"It's elegantly expressed on the nose, showing red cherry, clove, roasted beet and floral aromas. The gently weighted palate displays sweet fruit flavours with silky texture and mellow tannins, making it immediately drinkable."

Tasting Notes
Beautiful and bright in colour. Wonderful nose redolent of red berries. Floral notes of roses with a hint of spice and fresh cherries. Deliciously fresh yet seductive and round on the palate kept in check with very subtle notes of liquorice and white pepper. Full of freshness, elegance and finesse, this Pinot is long, balanced and exhibits real typicity inherent to the Pinot Noir grape as one would find in a red Burgundy.
