95 / 100"This is dry, but generous, displaying spiced flavors of grapefruit sorbet, dragonfruit, honeysuckle and blood orange. Prominent, yet beautifully integrated acidity gives this firmly planted legs, as this dances on the palate, luring you in with its nimble mix of fruit and mineral. It is almost seamless, you don't even notice the intensity at first. Delicious, mineral-tinged finish. Best after 2026."

"A super-fine and elegant Mosel GG with a delicate nose of hedgerow flowers and herbs. Very silky on the palate, where it moves on like a ballerina en pointe. This is a beauty now, but will surely only become more beautiful through several more years of bottle age. Drink or hold."

Tasting Notes
This wine is the creme-de-la-creme of the estate's dry Rieslings. Its grapes are sourced from the best and oldest parcels on the Juffer Sonnenuhr.
Rigorously hand harvested to select only the best, most fully ripened grapes. The must is fermented in 1000 L oak barrels (fuder) and stainless-steel tanks. Extended lees contact and a critical settling period give this wine its final polish.
This Grosses Gewächs delivers power, body and structure. A symphony of juicy fruits, blossom aromas, racy herbal spice, delicate creaminess and a filigreed acidity. Yet the true potential of this beauty is only revealed with maturity.
