95 / 100"Inky garnet in the glass, this wine smells of cassis and blackberry with a hint of white pepper. In the mouth it is beautifully structured with broad muscular tannins and cassis and blackberry fruit touched with a hint of white and black pepper. A gorgeous earthiness lingers through a long finish. Excellent acidity means this wine will age for a very long time."

Tasting Notes
The first wine from the joint venture with Chapoutier (previously Nantua Vineyard and now mainly grafted to Shiraz). The nose has more of the graphite and mineral characters. The palate is long and racy with emerging spice and black peppers flavours reflect the expression of this granitic terroir. A firm tannic structure provides an exceptional length.
