97 / 100"Deep red with a purple rim. Powerful, meaty and savoury, this substantial, complex and deeply layered shiraz slowly unfolds its concentrated expression of blackberry, blueberry, dark plum and cassis-like flavour beneath a spicy, musky perfume of cracked pepper, smoked meats and cinnamon. It steadily becomes more pungent, opulent and accessible, as its firm, chalky palate yields more fruit sweetness and depth with aeration. Exceptionally long and complete, it's a statement of sophisticated winemaking intent. And it needs time!"

Tasting Notes
Deep nose; violets and Charcuterie in the now established style of 05 and 06; concentrated; intense; long and powerful. Lively with obvious firm tannins. This vineyard continues to impress with the depth and complexity of the fruit. It will benefit greatly from cellaring.
