This Savagnin is from Jura in Rotalier on soils of blue/grey marl. Sitting at 300m high the vines enjoy a semi-continental climate (very cold winter, warm and sunny summer days). High trained and widely-spaced vines. Hand harvest, vinified as whole cluster, 12 monthsin oak barrels 650L (100% new), 8 months in stainless steel tank. Sharp and vivid wine, salty at the end of the mouth, with a great freshness. Hints of chalk and wet stone. Electric wine that wakes up all your senses. Drink now or age up to 10 years.
