Tasting Notes
With this dominant sparkling wine — Champagne Piot-Sevillano Brut Rose AOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The wine-growing regions of the French winery Piot-Sévillano stretch across the landscapes of Champagne, where the experienced winemaker produces this sparkling wine. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This sparkling wine is ideal to be served with oysters or aperitifs.
60% Meunier 25% Pinot noir 15% Chardonnay
The nose is fruity, gourmand and relatively creamy. It reveals notes of red fruit cream, white fruit and discreet notes of lemon associated with small touches of egg cream. The palate is fruity, fresh, dynamic, unctuous and offers minerality, a small tension and acidity. In the mouth this Champagne expresses notes of raspberry, blackberry and slight notes of white nectarine associated with discreet notes of pear, lemon and a very discreet hint of spice. Good length.
