94* / 100"The fruit comes mainly from the 36 year old Wyjup vineyard and a portion from the Hayview vineyard around Mt Barker in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Aromas of lime, green apple, musky fragrant white lilies, mineral and spice. On the palate crisp, dry and crunchy with green apple, lime and spice flavours. It is racy, taught and minerally with a good dry flinty finish. Very excellent wine. RATED: 93-94"

"Delicate, crisp, floral apple and lime aromas flow through to the palate, likewise fresh and lively; good length."

"5 stars. In the 2007 vintage, Plantagenet Riesling boasts the pristine varietal character that’s made it one of Western Australia’s modern classics. Scents of lime and wildflowers lead to a palate of piercing varietal definition, super-fine in texture and lingering in flavour. Past examples have aged superbly, and this should too."

"Great Southern Riesling deserves more attention in the world of wine, particularly at this price. Beautifully balanced, fresh lime juice and lemon blossom flavours fill its zesty, concentrated palate, with minerally acidity streaming long into the finish."
