"From four estate vineyards, hand-picked, destemmed and crushed, fermented with cultured yeast. You can't make wine by numbers, nor rate them. This won the trophy for Best Riesling at the Melbourne Wine Awards '16 off the back of 9.5g/l titratable acidity, pH 2.9 and residual sugar 3/5g/l. This should by rights be fearsome, but it's not - its just awesomely delicious, with a bouquet full of white flowers, the palate with pink grapefruit and Granny Smith apple. It's virtually immune from ageing."

"A Trophy winner at the Royal Melbourne Show 2016. Very much deserved too. Apologies for the stamped bottle pic, it's the only one I could find. Mind you, after winning such an accolade, I don't blame the Pooleys for promoting it. Gee this is a treasure. Some wine show results are hit and miss - this is a hit. A dry Riesling with 4g residual sugar, it has a backbone of limes, kaffir lime leaves and pretty white flowers. Green apple peel reveals another layer. A few more swirls and grapefruit steps up to the plate with a captivating minerally drive steering the ship home. Perfectly balanced fruit and acid sits long urging another sip. A super wine ready to drink now but has aging potential too. A wine I was very glad to purchase."
