This offers graphite combined with florals, an unusual combination, with toast and mellow leather flavours here too. I was surprised when I saw the price; I would have guessed higher. Tasting Notes
An opulent, dense and powerful red - PERFECT Barossa Shiraz for the price! It presents complex, savoury notes of tapenade, black olive and smoky charcuterie. The nose follows to the palate with red fruit flavours and savoury notes. Seductive dark fruit, notes of licorice and black olive, just enough tannin grip and all finishes with fresh, balanced acidity. Fleshy mouth feel and lovely finish.
The wine is neither fined nor filtered prior to bottling to allow the complex Shiraz fruit to shine through.
