95 / 100"A lovely deep dive into lime, everything lime! Lime zest, lime cordial, lime sherbet aromas with an enticing addition of citrus blossom and the prettiest aromatics in honeysuckle and Thai basil, marks this Coal River Valley Riesling as a top-class example of the continuing rise and rise of riesling in Tasmania. What follows is a clean purity of fruit expression on the palate, one built around a firm line and length of zesty, fresh acidity and plenty of citrus – with lime in the vanguard – leading the way. There’s both the zing of youth present in the glass and the promise of an even better tomorrow over time. Like a fresh, zest-fuelled lemon or lime sorbet but without too much sugar, it’s super clean and dry . . . and more-ish."

"Offering fabulous elegance and poise, the wine shows crunchy apple, fresh herb, white flesh nectarine and floral nuances, followed by a linear palate that's finely focused and persistent. It's mouth-watering and lively with excellent fruit purity and persistency. At its best: 2026 to 2037."

Tasting Notes
The Estate label showcases unique blocks in various areas located around the property. Notably many of the blocks are located on the banks of Pittwater and the slopes of Riversdale Valley. A series that encompasses both old and new vines. Focus and attention are applied
to each block and vintage & handled individually in our state of the art winery before blending.
Potpourri, lime & rose water on the nose with fresh acidity on the palate that follows with lime and granny smith fruit
on the finish. A Riesling that will develop nicely for those who will wait patiently.
