95 / 100"This is gorgeously perfumed on the nose with blackberry, potpourri, cocoa and roasted hazelnut aromas, leading to an opulent palate that's packed with succulent fruit flavours and spicy nuances. Plump and weighty with a sustained plush finish. At its best: now to 2036. $70.00."

"An intense McLaren Vale Shiraz combining concentrated deeply textured fruit with a lift of dried herbs and pepper. It’s a full-bodied wine of structure and presence with loads of dark fruit wrapped around a firm core of tannin and oak. Vanillin and licorice flavours combine with blackberry, chocolate and plum. Lots happening."
