Scores
97 / 100"62% shiraz, 33% mataro, 5% grenache from the Riversdale Vineyard in Frankland River, hand-picked and sorted, the components separately vinified, each receiving a 12-day cold soak before extended fermentation and maceration, 35% matured in new barriques, the remainder used, for 11 months. Redefines what is possible with this blend from Frankland River. While shiraz provides black fruits and fine-grained tannins, the other varieties are seamlessly joined with subtle, spicy red fruits. Great value."

Tasting Notes
A medium bodied blend of Shiraz, Mataró and Grenache, this wine has bright, perfumed aromatics of red fruits and spice with a subtle savoury edge. The palate is plush, with a smoothly textured mouth feel with fine grained chewy tannins. Medium bodied and well suited to complement food.
