91 / 100"Good gear here. Simple done well with a little bit extra going on, and certainly some pleasing powdery elements to the texture. Away we go. Scents of Lemon Lime Splice, nashi pear, Pink Lady apple juice with a whiff of talc too. The palate is similarly framed, though you'd say the citrusy elements are the strongest card, albeit with more of the talc-like mineral charm entering the flavour profile, finishing the wine a little powdery, dry and floral. It's got all the right moves for entry-level Clare riesling and does them with aplomb."

Tasting Notes
Description Only the free run juice of the best parcels of the vintage is used to make the Tim Adams Riesling, resulting in a delicate wine with intense aromas and flavours. The 2023 Riesling is characterized by its purity and concentration of citric flavours of lemon and lime underlain by floral notes. Winemaking Notes Remaining true to our commitment to make quality Riesling expressing pure regionality, only juice which ran free from the press without applying any pressure was used to make this premium Riesling, from carefully selected sites throughout the Clare Valley. Following crushing, de-juicing and juice clarification, a steady fermentation proceeded for two weeks at 12—14°C to retain the delicate Riesling bouquet. The wine has been protein and cold stabilised to normal standards and contains only natural acid. Growing Conditions The cooler ripening conditions in Clare Valley delivered a wine with slightly lower alcohol level and with a remarkable natural acidity, providing it with freshness and longevity. Food Pairing Use as an aperitif and/or enjoy with seafood or white meats over the next 15 years.
