96 / 100"A blend of 96% shiraz, 2% viognier and 1% each of marsanne and mataro co-fermented on frozen viognier skins. Based on '73 plantings, the first Cote Rotie style made in Australia. A highly perfumed bouquet, its medium-bodied palate has more red berry notes than that of the adjoining Underhill block; calmly elegant until the expansion and power of the finish."
