95 / 100"Many years ago malbec found a home in Argentina after being largely shunned in France. And this is the reason why it is revered. It’s from the Uco Valley, Mendoza in Argentine and brings everything you want from malbec to the table. The colour is deep and dark, the nose a mix of liqueur chocolates, red jubey fruits and floral exotics. The palate is sumptuous and balanced with a chalky tannin and subtle oak influence cradling the fruit through to a sustained finish."

"An utterly delicious Argentinian Malbec, showing why the variety is so highly regarded there. The colour for this wine is a near black, while the nose exhibits notes of blackberries, cassis and chocolate with an intriguing dusty road character with a flick of oak. Licorice comes to the fore as we move to the palate. A supple texture, there are sleek tannins and bright acidity, with an intensity which never wavers and hints of early complexity. Finally, a long and lingering finish. Impressive example of what this variety can achieve as a solo act. This wine has never met a barbecue it could not improve."

"From the high altitude (well beyond 1000m above sea level), vineyards in Valle de Uco, Argentina, hail the fruit of this enjoyable Malbec, a grape variety that has found better fortune in South America. The nose displays a fragrant bouquet of fresh blue violets, blueberries, blackcurrants, and blue plums pumped up by vanilla, cedar, new leather, and cigar box scents. Elegant and uber-delicate palate decorated by a well-polished fruit profile and graphite-like, savoury tannins. The length is moderate, but the drinkability is copious."

A multi-award winning Malbec from Argentina that is a real hearty and full-bodied wine. On the nose, it is intense and complex with outstanding aromas of red fruits, black berries, as well as delicate floral notes. In the mouth, its entry is sweet and mild. It is a fruity and fresh wine with good intensity. In the middle mouth, it is wide with a lingering finish.
