92 / 100"Oaky smokiness for now dominates the nose on this wine but the palate brims with concentrated, ripe red cherry. The wine has a lovely density of fruit and supple, ripe but fine tannin. Freshness brightens and enlivens all."

"Like the Givry, there is a discreet hint of menthol sitting atop the earthy and slightly sauvage-suffused nose of dark raspberry, currant and game scents. There is an attractively rich and textured mouthfeel to the plush and velvety flavors that deliver fine depth and persistence on the lightly stony and moderately firm finale. There is just a suggestion of rusticity to remind one that it is a Santenay and overall, this is a solid effort that is worth checking out."

"This elegant red is still unfolding. Bright ruby, it is mouthfilling and savoury, with very good concentration of fresh, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, nutty, complex and finely poised. Best drinking 2024+."

Tasting Notes
A distinguished premier cru Pinot Noir from Santenay & amazing example of the 2019 vintage. The aromas overflow from the glass with notes of red cherry and red liquorice, with notes of rose petals and smoky baking spice. On the palate rich red fruit melds with fine, supple tannins and energetic acidity. Well structured and textured, that lingers with a bright mouthfeel. A fantastic wine to add to the cellar or enjoy in the coming years with some premium charcuterie, rich sauces, or stews.
