Golden Ball is a micro-boutique winery in the Beechworth region owned and operated by James McLaurin

Vinified separately, the fruit drawn from the original vineyard. The vintage composition typical make up is 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 5% Malbec. Barrelled in 35% new barriques from prestigious Bordeaux coopers are used to compliment the wines.

"The best of its line for sure. Lovely wine. Structured, distinctive, pencilly, flooded with blackcurrant and sheered with (a little too much) eucalypt. Classy drop otherwise. It will age like a charm. Sophisticated tannin structure. The goods."
