Tasting Notes
Totally opaque, crimson black colour. Generous ripe fruit nose with abundant aroma of spice, liquorice, blackcurrant, cedar and a hint of truffle, showing strong varietal character. On the palate the flavours of ripe stewed fruit, plum and liquorice are perfectly integrated and welded to a distinct peppery end palate. Excellent weight and mouthfeel with long aftertaste of plum, blackpepper and spice

"Blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and petit verdot. All sourced from McLaren Vale and Langhorne Creek. Riddled with mint and tannin and raspberry jam, with warm alcohol adding both flavour and texture. Good structure. Good impact. Delivers a great chomp of warm, strong, sink-your-teeth-into-it red wine. If you like the style, it’s well worth the money"
- Campbell Mattinson
