96 / 100"This is packed with dark fruit richness together with spicy oak, tobacco and dark chocolate nuances on the nose. The sumptuous palate delivers lavish texture and mouth-coating tannins, gorgeously enhanced by sweet fruit intensity, finishing impressively long and gratifying. At its best: now to 2033"

Tasting Notes
Established in 1903, this producer specialises in producing hand-crafted, high-quality wines from the famed Coonawarra region in South Australia
Coonawarra is nestled in the heart of the Limestone Coast of South Australia. The unique cigar-shaped strip of rich terra rossa soil that defines the region is a one-of-a-kind narrow ridge of earth, just 27 kilometres long and two km wide, is known for producing incomparable red wines – in particular, Cabernet Sauvignon.
This rich and fruit-driven parcel of hand-selected Cabernet fruit exhibits a deep ruby red colour alongside aromas of ripe-dark fruits. The palate presents flavours of mulberry, blackcurrant, and juicy plum complemented by hints of pepper spice. The wine provides a full-bodied structure that is beautifully balanced by silky tannins and excellent varietal characteristics – for that lasting impression.
