Still proudly family-owned, Pol Roger is one of the champagne names to look out for in the value stakes. Sure, the prices aren't that low, but relative to competitors it is a great buy. This example is a soft, harmoniously put-together champagne with attractive patisserie and bakery spice characters, lovely freshness, great length and finesse.
