Tasting Notes
A most inspired Cellar Master; Madame Clicquot had an audacious new vision in which colour, taste and aroma were vital to the quality of wine. Breaking tradition in 1818, she recreated how rose champagne was made - from a simple white wine coloration made with elderberries, to a magnificent blend of her still white and red wines. Today, we raise a glass to the 200th anniversary of blended rosé champagne! As the Rosé expression of the Brut Yellow Label, this is the instinctive choice for a distinctive celebration. It has a fresh first impression followed by ripe red fruits. Perfectly balanced, this wine combines elegance and personality. Veuve Clicquot Rosé is a true symbol of Madame Clicquot's ingenious and audacious spirit. The blend includes reserve wines (30-45%) which ensure the consistency of the House style, year on year. On the nose: fresh red fruits (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry) leading to biscuity notes (almonds, apricots and brioche). On the palate: full bodied and deliciously fruity, with intense flavors of juicy ripe strawberries and cherries. A burst of red fruits.
