91 / 100"Outskirts of Chassagne, produced (for Burgundy) in what would be considered an industrial facility, but really is just a shed above ground. Clean, careful winemaking, not much new oak, la lutte raisonee in the vineyard. A whiff of wet slate-like mineral edge on fuzzy peach skin and pith scents. Touch herbal, touch earthy, touch fruity. Interesting. Pure, driving taste – linear and coiled, lemon-fringed, cool mineral water-like minerality in tow. Lovely came to mind. Effortless drinking, but with intensity and tension in tow. This is very good drinking."
