95 / 100"Deep-ish red with a good tint of purple and a noseful of sweet spices, mace and cardamom, pepper and nutmeg. The palate is succulently fruit-sweet and plush, intense and sexy, the texture delightful and the tannins supple as well as gently insistent, supplying backbone and structure. Drinking well now and for several more years."

Tasting Notes
Deep colour. Evocative, powerfully sweet, expressive Barossa Christmas cake spices. With the cloves apparent, even more so when you taste it, as if you had put a clove bulb on your tongue, or you had spooned the leftovers from the mixng bowl and had the clove bulb in it. Nutmeg & mint perfumes with it.
