4.5 / 5"This village Burgundy is ruby hued, mouthfilling and supple. Already drinking well, it is clearly varietal, with generous, ripe cherry, plum and spice flavours, savoury notes adding complexity, and good harmony."

5 / 5
"This is wonderfully fruited and complex on the nose with red fruit, dried mushroom, game and floral aromas, leading to a beautifully weighted palate offering soothing texture backed by fine- grained tannins, finishing persistent and silky. At its best: now to 2029."

Tasting Notes
A charming pinot noir from the Cote Chalonnaise which is known for producing high quality, elegant expressions of Burgundy, often exceeding its price tag in terms of value. The nose is expressive, showing strawberry and raspberry jam, fresh berries and some delicate wisps of spice. The palate is smooth and refined, opening up to a flavours of ripe red fruits, baking spice and dried herbs, framed by supple, fine tannins and a refreshing acidity. A fantastic addition to the cellar and a wonderful wine to enjoy all year around.
