Aged in a combination of new (10%) and old French oak barriques and puncheons with 15% whole bunch inclusion. Deep dark red black tinged core with a bright purple red hue. Captivating the olfactory senses are perfumed aromas of violets, dark cherries, strawberries and anise followed by some dried herb, forest floor and spicy cedar notes. Delicious red to dark cherry and strawberry fruits flow across the palate complexed by subtle forest floor, fresh herb and spicy cedar characters. Good underlying freshness and polished tannins finishing long with both energy and elegance.
