89 / 100"There is more clay at this end of the village. Mid purple, some fruit on the nose without detailed expression, though we find powerful fresh raspberry fruit on the palate with good acidity and some tannins. Drink from 2026-2032. Tasted: October 2023."

Tasting Notes
The “Maranges” appellation is located south of Santenay in the southernmost part of the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Chavy-Chouet manages a beautiful plot at the bottom of the slope of the appellation in a South-West exposure called: “Les Meurées”. Aged for 10 months in barrels.
Inviting fruit on the nose and good power on the palate with fresh raspberries and a good balance between acidity and tannins.
