94 / 100"Rich, perfumed and a little heady, this comes from the very south east section of the vineyard. 100% whole bunch to bring more vibrancy to the fruit, this is deep and complex. Will not last as long as some of his other wines, but for now this is a wonderful wine."

"A plot of three ouvrées, half in premier cru and half village, so sold as the latter. Made from young vines which suffer in the heat and drought so Romaric has opted for 100% whole bunch vinification. Compared to the Bourgogne, this Volnay has a lighter softer colour and an overwhelmingly floral whole bunch bouquet. Nearly a bit pruny and nearly a bit dry, but lovely all the same with rich strawberry scented roses. Imperfect perhaps but individual and interesting."

Tasting Notes
The young vines of this plot make it a purplish coloured wine, with a very intense fruity nose from the first nose. It is undoubtedly a Volnay with character, full in the mouth and always carried on the fruit felt at the beginning. It is a wine that can be enjoyed this year or can be enjoyed for a long time in your cellar!
