92 / 100"The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Village shows the stem addition slightly more conspicuously than the Chambolle-Village, white pepper and touches of bay leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, lightly peppered black fruit with notes of tobacco and dark chocolate towards the finish. This gains complexity in the glass. Promising - quintessential Dujac."

"Here too there is enough reduction to push the fruit to the background. Otherwise, there is a slightly more volume to the attractively textured medium weight flavors that possess both lovely delineation and purity, all wrapped in a lingering and mildly austere finale. This energetic effort could use better depth but that should reasonably develop in time - Allen Meadows"

"Aromas of dark berries, spices, vine smoke, baking chocolate and pine resin introduce the 2021 MoreySaint-Denis Village, a medium to full-bodied, supple and charming wine that's bright and perfumed, concluding with a rose-inflected finish. - William Kelley"

Tasting Notes
Aromas of wild berries, currant, black plum, cinnamon and warm spices. In the mouth, it is flexible, and elegant but also vinous. Black fruits, such as blueberries, as well as stone fruits, such as cherries, offer powdery tannins just offset by a light, salivating acidity.
