97 / 100"Pure fresh crimson purple. A sample straight from the cellar so colder. A little bit of reduction, a slightly more robust fruit on the nose as well. Fills the mouth with a sweet but pure raspberry, a little more power at the back, none of the orange blossoms, slightly more tannic, probably equal in length. Some acidity too. - 94-97 Points"

Tasting Notes
La Grande Rue is an exclusive monopole, meaning the vineyard is owned solely by Domaine Nicole Lamarche. This grand cru vineyard sits in a prime location between the legendary Romanée-Conti and La Tâche, offering an exceptional terroir for cultivating world-class Pinot Noir.
This is a remarkable expression of one of Burgundy’s most prestigious Grand Cru vineyards. Known for its elegance and depth, this wine showcases an exquisite balance of dark fruit flavors, subtle spice, and earthy complexity. La Grande Rue Grand Cru is a small vineyard located adjacent to the famed La Romanée-Conti and offers an extraordinary expression of Pinot Noir. The vineyard’s soils, a mix of clay and limestone, contribute to the wine’s complexity and ageability.
