Tasting Notes
Domaine Prieuré Roch is a family-owned winery established in 1860. Located in the village of Ladoix, and is run by the Roch family.
The Clos des Varoilles monopole is an impressive 6 hectare holding that has been purchased by Domaine Prieure Roch. The plot is in the northern part of Gevrey in the combe Lavaux. For the 2021 harvest the yields were so small across the vineyard that the Domaine was only able to bottle one cuvee which is a blend from across the plot as opposed to last year when they bottled two expressions from this site.
