93 / 100"A spiced smoked biltong note on the nose with dark cherry. A silky smooth textured palate with fabulous concentration and texture, velvety, hedonistic but underpinned with bright acidity that cleanses the palate. Intoxicatingly inviting , fleshy and chewy with such vibrancy and energy. Drinking now but will age for at least 5 years."

Tasting Notes
What gloriously delicious fruit here, very lifted raspberry with a very subtle structure, so opened and pretty for Beaune. Quite persistent on the finish, this is a lovely example of how good Beaune can be, especially when it comes from the best part of a great vineyard such as Teurons, and is crafted by a winemaker with total respect for terroir expression.
A beguiling nose with a lovely, fragrant array of violet, rose and summer berries. Bright and vivacious on attack it has great energy and drive, supported by rounded, supple tannins through to a protracted, mocharich, yet sprightly finish.
