"The 2018 Bourgogne Rouge comes from a single parcel within Gevrey-Chambertin. Raised in used oak, it has a simple, candied, red-cherry-scented bouquet. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, pretty strawberry and cranberry fruit and a brisk finish. A satisfying generic red Burgundy."

"A fresh, ripe and pretty mix features notes of both red and dark berries laced with plenty of earth elements. The supple and nicely vibrant flavors flash only a touch of rusticity on the lingering finish that is firm enough to suggest an aging curve of 3 to 6 years."

Tasting Notes
Brothers David and Nicolas Rossignol run this 100% Organic and Biodynamically farmed Domaine located in the very heart of Gevrey Chambertin. Very early to the Sustainable farming movement, all the family's vineyards, located in some of the most impressive vineyards in Burgundy, were converted to Certified Orgainc in 2004.
