92 / 100"More perfumed and floral than the other 2010 Pinot Noirs from Felton Road, the Cornish Point is a pretty, slightly delicate wine that nevertheless doesn't lack for intensity. It's medium in weight, with creamy tannins that finish like silk."

Tasting Notes
Felton Road is a premium wine producer in New Zealand’s Central Otago region. Established in 1991, the estate owns 32 ha of vineyards in the Bannockburn sub-region.
Another top effort from winemaker Blair Walter, Felton Road's 2005 Pinot Noir features masses of plum and blackberry fruit, hints of tea and smoke, and a long, mouth-watering finish.
- Joe Czerwinski
Aromatically there has been evolution towards more earthy and savoury notes. There are even hints of forest floor lurking in the background!
On the palate there is a great core which is rich and chewy. The shear fruit density and grainy tannins would suggest a good future. This wine's personality and complexity will reward those connoisseurs amongst us.
Enjoy with family or friends with beef, venison and pasta.
