Tasting Notes
Very typical of Pinot Noir from Mornington Peninsula, this wine was produced using three parcels of fruit sourced from across the length of the Peninsula - the northern parcel more plummy; the centre used for the whole bunch component (33%); while the cooler southern parcel giving spice and savouriness.
This is a structured, plummy and earthy Pinot Noir made entirely from estate fruit, and shows exactly how masterful the FGR team is. Their Pinot displays beautiful regional characteristics - bright acidity, fine chalky tannin and extremely polished. Wonderfully easy to drink, it's sure to please all lovers of plush reds. Representing great value for quality, this is a lovely Pinot that would pair beautifully with a range of dishes.
