Tasting Notes
Winemaker paul Bridgemen is recognised as one of Australia’s leading winemakers, having spent five years as winemaker at Yarra Yering where he steered the iconic label immediately after the passing of Yarra Valley legend, Dr Bailey Carrodus.
A beautifully perfumed and relatively serious example of Yarra Valley Pinot from an exciting new entrant to the local scene, made by the highly experienced Paul Bridgeman (ex Mt Mary and Yarra Yering).
Wonderfully expressive aromas of mulled strawberry, forest floor and clove - immediately apparent this is a high quality and detailed Pinot Noir. Plush and refined palate, red berries and velvet umami throughout, savoury, earthy type chatacters, a stalkiness giving the wine structure and an extra element in flavour, then finishing with delicious and dark berry and subtle oak notes.
