"“Deep crimson-purple; it has an exotic perfumed bouquet, partly from the inclusion of one-third whole bunches, and partly from 18 months maturation in used Stockinger barrels. The power and length of the wine is extraordinary: the “drink to” date should prove conservative. Drink to 2040.”"

"About 15% whole bunches here. According to Rob Walters this was the year that the vines seemed to kick in in a different way, with a sense of maturity now in place, to an extent. Supple textured, deep and gently savoury, mellow red and black cherry fruit characters, sourness in a pleasant sense, alpine herbs, a slick dusting of clove and cinnamon, bright, blood orange acidity and licks of game meat, truffle and autumnal savoury elements. It feels fine and fancy, exqusiite in detail of flavours and beautiful texture. Sensational, really. Top flight"

Tasting Notes

The Place of Changing Winds Between Two Mountains Pinot Noir 2021 is a truly exceptional wine that is sure to impress even the most discerning wine connoisseur.

Beautiful ruby red colour and its elegant aroma. As you take a sip, you'll notice the wine's rich, full-bodied flavour, which is characterized by notes of dark cherry, blackberry, and spice. These flavours are balanced by a subtle acidity that makes for a clean and refreshing finish.

The grapes are carefully handpicked and then gently crushed and fermented in small batches to ensure maximum flavour extraction. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, which gives it a subtle vanilla flavour and a smooth, velvety texture.

The Place of Changing Winds Between Two Mountains Pinot Noir 2021 is a truly exceptional wine that is perfect for any occasion
