94 / 100"Complex and engaging, the bouquet shows spiced cherry, dried herb, smoked meat and potpourri aromas, followed by a concentrated palate that’s refined and elegant. The wine offers satisfying sweet berry flavours with rich savoury/spicy undertones, finishing wonderfully long and expansive. At its best: now to 2032"

5 / 5
"Offering fine value, the youthful 2021 vintage (5*) was estate-grown, hand-picked from mature vines, matured for over a year in a mix of French barriques and larger oak vessels (30 percent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered. A distinctive, very savoury red, it is ruby hued, fragrant and mouthfilling, with generous cherry, spice and nut flavours, showing excellent complexity, and refined, supple tannins. - 5 Stars - Michael Cooper’s Buyer’s Guide 2022"
