Domaine De La Janasse is located in the region Côtes-Du-Rhône within the Château-Neuf-du-Pape appellation. In 1973 Aimé Sabon took over the winery from his father, who had been selling his grapes to a big corporation since 1912. Blend of 40% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre, 20% Carignan, 15% Syrah, 5% Cinsault. Enticing aromas of ripe berries, pepper, and herbs, with a smooth palate and supple tannins. On the palate notes of cherry and plum intertwined with savory undertones. Silky tannins and a touch of spice provide structure, while well-balanced acidity lends freshness and vibrancy to the finish.
