Tasting Notes
Cuilleron's Madinere posses a pleasant, moreish nose of dark fruits, roasted notes and a slight menthol on the finish. The palate is harmonious and juicy with a fresh, sprightly finish. It ends with subtle, silky tannins. These grapes come a small south/southeast parcel to the north of Cote Rotie and are grown on the classic shist soils. Madiniere can be drunk for the primary fruit aromas during the first 5 years or after 10 years for the seconday flavours.

Scores
97 / 100"This is a superb wine. There's a wonderfully complex bouquet of earth, spices and flowers including violets, then a firm, full-bodied palate with big tannins and great structure. Long term."
