93 / 100"Pink grapefruit, redcurrant, some fennel and floral perfume. It’s a lively number offering a fair twist of amaro/blood orange, with a good bite to acidity, but I note that it’s the chalky grip that sets it above the ruck. The texture is excellent, quite peppery and dusty, and it finishes dry, firm, and crunchy with good length. Quite an adult style here, and I reckon it will be better again with a few more months in bottle."

"93+ because it might add a touch more flesh and be better for it, but such a good wine. Over time this wine has become a benchmark rosé I’d reckon, always worth buying/drinking."

"Lightweight and savoury rosé of tart cherry, cranberry, gentle woody spice and some dried, Italianate herbal elements in tow. Has fine, grippy texture amongst its vibrant, juicier fruit elements, a talc-like, powdery finish very appealing. Frisky, bright, delightful stuff here."

Tasting Notes
Nebbiolo truly makes for a fantastic grape to use in Rosato/Rose, keeping it crisp and dry. But this one from Longview adds just in a little bit of Pinot Noir, too, which comes together as a truly sensual coupling.
Strawberries, floral blossoms, red currants and a line of minerality all greet you in aromatics and on the palate; it just flows so beautifully, coming into a savoury finish.
Impossible to stop at just one glass. It's a great pink number at a great price.
