Tasting Notes
An intriguing wine, firstly boasting a pale salmon colour, closely mimicking the fine Rose wines made out of Provence, France. Like a kid in a candy shop, the Saint and Scholar Rose shows mouth-watering Strawberry and Creams, along with sweet confectionary and fresh summer Raspberries.
All the hallmarks of a quality Rose. One does notice a spring flower, almost herbal note, along with a crunchy core that opens up and draws you in. The palate is fresh and exciting, with juicy strawberries and summer fruits playing hero. Racy acidity ensures the wine stays crisp from the get go, with an appealing creamy note adding much approved texture and control.
Finishes a savoury dry, that enhances drinkability. Serve nice and cold, to experience the full gamut of possibilities this Rose has to offer.
