Tasting Notes
Handpicked during the first cool light hours of the morning, 100% whole bunch basket pressed to seasoned puncheon French oak for natural fermentation with lees aging for 6 months prior to bottling.
Beautifully perfumed & complex, aromatics of musk, white cherries & aniseed. Bursts of flavours carry through from the aromatics with spicy acidity, chalky crunchy texture, salivating & dry.

Scores
94 / 100"All Sangiovese. All Dom Torzi. This bloke knows what he’s doing when he makes wine. It’s a little wild, some cap gun smokiness, but it’s really engaging. White cherry, fennel, musk, raw almond and spice, ruby red grapefruit. It’s bright, zesty and full of energy, blood orange and spice, a fine peppery texture and flavour, cool and distinctly Italianate, with a long crisp finish. Excellent. A rosato packed with character and interest. Not your average rosato, that’s for sure."
