Scores
95 / 100"This was tasted very early on and the potential was evident from the moment I dropped the nose into the glass. A superb example of Barossa Valley shiraz. Soft and supple with tremendous depth and concentration of fruit, but delivered with such elegance and style. Seamless oak and fruit integration and a finish that is polished and refined. Great things ahead."

"Still very early in its evolution, the wine is a deep, dark maroon in colour. The nose is all spices and cherry pie, black fruits, root vegetables, aniseed and coffee beans. It is supple, focused and sleek and when it is ready, should be very promising indeed with a future of at least ten to fifteen years. (94, but very early days)."

"A barrel sample of a young puppy with plenty of development ahead of it. Yes, it's a wine that is still in its prime, with a lot to unpack, but it is already showing what it's made of: ultra-polished black and blue fruit, mild sweet spices, a whisper of herbaceous note, spearmint, and blue violets. The palate has all the sweetness from fresh and delicious berries, framed by a yet svelte acidity, slowly building, chunky tannins, and a back of the palate that is flavour-licious and savoury at the same time."
