94 / 100"Deep crimson. Intense ripe blackberry boysenberry dark chocolate aromas with hints of aniseed. A classic claret style with ample blackberry, boysenberry, mulberry, cassis fruits, fine chalky/ al dente tannins and underlying mocha notes. Finishes grippy/ cedary firm with a long inky/ minerally plume. A very expressive wine with lovey fruit clarity and restrained power."

Tasting Notes
"Deep, saturated purple-red colour; very fresh, somewhat raw aromas of blueberry, violet and blackberry greet the nose. A lacework of freshly chopped herbs, too. The wine is full-bodied and dense, with good concentration and luscious fruit sweetness, underpinned by serious tannins. It tastes very ripe but is on the right side of the ledger, with freshness and vitality." - Huon Hooke
