94 / 100"Very deep colour, starting to show development in its hue but retaining a good amount of purple in the meniscus; the bouquet is very complex and mellow, earthy and dark-to-red fruited, the palate is full-bodied and firm with ample tannins providing support. Stacks of vanilla, chocolate and mocha with a trace of cigarbox starting up. There's been a lot of oak employed here. Impressive plushness and character too."

Tasting Notes
Medium garnet in color, the 2010 Shiraz Meshach reveals notes of black cherry compote, dried plums, mulberries and spice cake with hints of smoky bacon, cloves and Szechuan pepper. Medium-bodied, the palate is slowly evolving in typical Meshach fashion into an elegant expression of classic Barossa Shiraz with plenty of exotic spices to match the intense fruit swaddled by velvety tannins and a finish of great length.
