96 / 100"Strong purple-red; right up there with the best of Huntington Estate Special Reserves released over the years; has great structure and balance, fruit, tannins and oak all in harmony, red and black cherry and plum flooding the palate yet not threatening the balance or elegance of the wine."

Tasting Notes
It’s supremely age worthy, varietal and expressive of the terroir, displaying exceptional tannins and palate while offering extraordinarily good value.
As smooth and as fruity as you’d expect from the variety; the fine tannins are well managed to provide structure and length as well as the ability to age. Mudgee produces outstanding Shiraz in both the warm and cool years.
