Tasting Notes
Aromas of blackberry and white pepper with hints of spice as you would expect from good use of oak. From the first mouthful it’s a flavour bomb in your mouth, with its sweet black fruit in the front though to the seductive French oak on the very back of the palate, this along with its silky tannins. Should leave one very satisfied indeed.
The two Shiraz vineyards from which this wine is sourced complement each other well – The Marananga block provides intense, old vine produce with particular “blue fruit offerings. The Nuriootpa block provides more “black fruits." The oldest vines used are 119 years old.
