95 / 100"(2021 vintage) Old Vines from Old Plains, from a near perfect vintage in South Australia. Authentic SA Shiraz here, warm and generous by nature, ripe dark berries backed by toasty oak, with hints of dark chocolate and warm earth. Plenty of honest flavour here, and a tannin grip that promises a great future."

"(2021 vintage) Richly fruited and complex, the bouquet shows blackberry, roasted hazelnut and cake spice aromas with a hint of dark cocoa. The succulent palate delivers excellent weight and plush texture, wonderfully framed by plenty of fine tannins, finishing long and delectable."

"(2021 vintage) This is maybe the best Longhop Shiraz to date. Rich black fruit, dark chocolate and new leather, a little sweet spice and tasteful toasty coconut oak. It’s full-bodied, plush and generous in dark fruit, a savoury saline black olive flavour, but juicy in blue and black fruits, firm grainy tannin, and a deep and ripe finish of excellent length. Hearty and very good."
