"Delphine Brulez's annual mature vintage bottling has a touch of age that gives richness and attractive toast. This wine from the small Aube producer still retains dryness. Drink this rich Champagne now. Organic."

Tasting Notes

Champagne Louise Brison is a tiny Organic and Biodynamically farmed vineyard located in the south of the Champagne region, who are destined for greatness.

This estate only creates Vintage wines, and all wines are matured in barrel before they undergo secondary fermentation. The wines then spend a minimum 5 years on lees in bottle, and after the Second ferment no reserve wines are added, and dosage is excruciatingly low (when it ever is added). Malolactic conversion is allowed to happen naturally, though it rarely does, retaining a laser-fine line of acidity. These wines are indeed more Burgundy with bubbles than they are Champagne! Truly vinous and amazingly complex wines that will only build in complexity over time.

The Extra Brut is a Blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Chardonnay vinified and aged in oak barrels. No malolactic fermentation and no dosage added due to the warmer vintage. This wine comes from the 2015 harvest only.
